This book has jumped out at me about 10 times in the last week. So I thought I would look it up and there it was a quote that hit me like a tone of bricks. This week is a week which has been a totally nightmare, well a total nightmare in my mind at least. Its been 9 months since I broke up with a soul mate and yet the last 3 weeks have been the hardest of all. So how does a girl whom has written a book about how she has sorted her life out and that is half way through her 2nd book about mending a broken heart go about sharing this pain and admitting that after all I am still only human. This weekend I cried into the arms of my friends. Like a soldier I have been battling on for so long and then it got me.. The emotion had reached its peak, there was only one way out and fu8k me did it. All it took was a friendly hug from a best friend and like Niagara falls it burst out and I cried and shook until I had no more left. Pretending that your invincible is not a truth that gives you any strength. I truly wonder if the Dali Lama kicks a door when someone has pissed him off or how long it took him to get to a place of peace so that he just doesn’t have to. For me I am still learning, we are all still learning, even the big D and I only know what I know and that it’s what I share. This week I became afraid of my emotions, I felt let down because I wanted to be a ‘expert’ it was a title that I had got caught up in somehow and I had managed to forget the beauty in my truth and my ability to be real and honest with myself. I loved and man whom was here to teach me a lesson, I needed to be broken so I could rebuild myself bigger and stronger. It hurts having these growing pains and change is hard but I will embrace it knowing that like medicine it does me good and I hope that whatever change you are having right now causes you to do the same. This blog is going to change from now on.. it’s time to get a bit more honest.. For a long time I have been honest, but underneath slightly scared.. So here it is .. me the girl whom stays out late, loves crap TV , loves dressing like a mad women but most of all wants to know how we can all live better, be better and feel better xx may me you and this blog have lots of fun xxxxxxx

Today I relived all the emotional pain of my past. Today another man I loved decided that his fear of life was more intimating than death.

I didn't know Alexander McQueen but I loved his creations and dreamt that with my success I would buy one of his originals. Now it is unlikely that is going to happen.

I am frustrated. I know I cannot control another’s actions, I know I cannot take away their pain but I want to have the ability to show them how wonderful they are even if they don't feel it. Every single one of us is important and although we can feel overwhelmed by the days ahead of us none of us should deny ourselves the love and opportunity that is around the corner.

Suicide in men is an epidemic. But you are choosing to hide and hope that if you ignore it will go away.

Men I know we have confused you. One minute we want you macho the next we are demanding you cry. Sometimes I worry that it’s our fault but then I have told you how much I love you and I thought you listened.

To know that someone can feel so sad inside is a overwhelming moment for many. We have lost someone so talented, an icon, an inspiration. For me I was brought to tears.

But you see 3 young men’s family’s a day are feel exactly the same about their son, their boyfriend, husband and best friend.

The suicide epidemic is real and the work I do for the Campaign Against Living Miserably is real but we are being ignored

Many corporate and governmental organizations’ are scared to say the S word. It has a stigma that creates concern. We miss out on grants, fundraisers and media coverage because you people with power are scared.

Let me ask you this how scared must of Alexander McQueen been of his life to do what he did.

It is now time to stop this nonsense. If we don't join forces and get together we will all know 4 people that take their own life.

This week we lost the man that made our dresses 5 years ago I lost the man that gave me cuddles. Where will this stop?

Been laying low finishing my first book “Toilet Training, sort out your crap life” and I am so excited about it. I have worked so hard on sorting out my own life that I wanted to share my insight and wisdom with the nation. Didn’t quite expect to put it all to test with a broken heart whilst writing it but at least I know it all still bloody works. Breaking up with my fella has been tough but when the going gets tough the tough get going and wow am I going.. it is all happening and I promise to keep you informed but right now I am off to look at the books first graphic designs.

The lost little child..

Just returned from Nepal and it has really got me thinking..

A small begging boy whom was hanging outside of store caught us whilst we was buying snacks tipsy after to many cocktails at Tom and Gerry’s bar in Kathmandu and we bought him a box of biscuits.. We then read that it is advised not to do this as the kids then sell the biscuits back to shops or give them to their pimp whom does it for them and gives them drugs as a swap.. The following days saw us seeing him smoking cigarettes (he was about 7?)a few days after sniffing glue.. When you have nothing what is your purpose in life? I have met many poor people on my trips to India and Nepal and many are the richest people I have ever met, they are wise and they have taught me so much about my indulgent western habits and enabled me to grow as a person as I changed this values. So this little fella got me confused on my original thoughts, our wrong doings when we feel we are helping and what is needed to make changes.

How must that lad feel inside to give up his food for drugs.. Many run away from the orphanages as they can make so much more quick cash begging and they just to young and unwise to consider the future. But what can outsiders do, I have no experience of having no family and feeling hungry to the point where it is so painful I would rather wipe my body of the pain with drugs. Yes I have had some really sh*t times and used drink and drugs to hide my emotions and forget my pain and confusion but that doesn’t give me the right to say I understand or think as a westerner I can throw money at the kid and sort his life out so what is needed.

Our hopes and dreams and respect for our life has to come from ourselves. This is harder when we have no one around us to remind us of this and only some of us our born wise enough to connect with this truth that is natural and within us all and what I believe is the natural richness I was talking about earlier that I have found in many people on my travels.

I am very lucky to have a man in my life that inspires me daily. His hardships have become his strength and his story is nothing but awe inspiring and all his achievements came from his desire to win, to look after those he loved and a knowing that something else was out there for him.. So why has this little one lost his way.. why have you lost your way.. and how do we get it back..

I am not sure but I am working on it too but maybe it is only the me, myself and I that has the answer we just don’t stand still long enough to be brave enough to allow ourselves to hear it

Oh my gosh.. I am so bad I know I havent written on my blog for ages.. So rubbish.. oops...

So in short I am currently working my butt off on EVOSOUP my social networking idea that is to be launched in a couple of months.. Got a great team together and we are gonna change the world.. done.. just like that.. or at least gather the troops because Evolutionary Soup is all about this.. Believe, Build, Value.. You can work out the rest and thats what it is all about.. I cant wait.. it feels like all my trials and tribulations have been for this moment.. stay tuned we gonna rock it..

Off to Nepal to see my man on saturday and fingers crossed we get the visa so that he can come to the UK and we can live happlily ever after. There has been huge drama and it is so a film but hey that will come later I am sure.. knowing me :)

Gonna finish editing my dads book whilst I am there and think about the interveiws for this years Liverpool Sound City in May .. I am so loving the snow.. me and my dad went to the local park and played snowballs like i was 5 .. so cool and we have some very talented people living close by. 4 doors down the guys that live there built a 5ft face made of snow and ice. They spent the whole day carving it and event created some stairs so that you could climb up and get you picture taken. I have my piccy and i will put it up on hear as soon as I can coz right now i am off to sledge with a bin liner 5 friends and a very big hill :)

"Too Fat Too Young" on C4 on 27th Jan saw Gok Wan tackle teen obesity and take a look at his own issues. It really made me think too. I have had so many eating issues and have battled with my body shape since i can remember. I come from a family that show love through food and I grew up being told to eat everything on my plate even when full. I so got what these kids where saying, and it was so refreshing to see someone in fashion talking so openly.

The UK is getting full of fatties, we use food as a emotional suppressant and its so wrong. Food is a fuel, it keeps us alive its not meant to kill us...

I want to create something meaningful to mark my birthday.This event aims to raise awareness and funds to help launch CALM 's texting and online service. This will allow young men to text for help, or just go online and type to an Advisor. Comic Relief will release a three-year grant, with £50,000 plus in the first year, provided we can raise £50,000 ourselves. We're about half way through. The Campaign Against Living Miserable (C.A.L.M) was launched as a charity in March 2006. CALM is aimed at men aged between 15 and 35. CALM offers young men a website, with information about a range of issues including drugs, relationships and debt. CALM also offers information and advice via a phone and web chat where you can talk confidentially and anonymously to an adviser. Anyone, regardless of age, gender or geographic location can call the line and visit the website, we are happy to help anyone; we do not turn people away. Why do we exist? Because suicide accounts for the deaths of more young men, aged 15-35, than any other single cause over the last 4 years. More men have died from their own hands in the last 4 years than have died in road accidents, drugs or AIDs. We need to change that.

There is pressure on men to deal with problems on their own; a lot of this pressure is from friends and the media. Men are pressured to be strong and silent, however we believe that being silent isn’t being strong. It can be hard to talk about personal things - especially with family or friends. The important thing to remember is that if you are feeling down, isolated or generally pissed off, you are not alone. It happens to everyone at some time in his or her lives. CALM believes that young men should be offered support if they are having difficulties in their life, whether the problem is big or small CALM is here to listen, support and provide information.

Keeping problems, thoughts and feelings bottled up inside isn’t healthy, it is important that these thoughts and feelings are dealt in a positive way.

So lets raise some money, express our self and have a bloody good time.

So what happens when you feel stuck.. What do you do when "murder she wrote" at 3pm on bbc2 is the high light of your day and you dont know what to do next. What if you wake up everyday and just dont know whom you are anymore. So much has happened all at once that its not that you dont know if your coming or going.. or just going.. you feel gone.. and you dont know where to find yourself.. your favourite dress, best shoes and a day of starvation dont even remind you.. We all know that lying in bed till 11am isnt the answer but if there is no point what do you do.. and what is the point.. and where do you find it if you lose it?? These thoughts have been entering my head lots recently.. Do we reach a point in our life like a 7 year hitch where we need to look at everything again before we leap into the next adventure. I have realised that feeling uncomfortable is good and it pushes us but being stuck in it can be like wearing a itching jumper and not knowing when your be able to take it off or what you will swap it for. Its easy to look at ourselves and moan about our fat bellies we would like to swap, our legs we would like to be longer and get down about our debt and lack of ever being able to by a house or find the right man.. but what about when we have to look at our good points, when we have to sit and think about what we enjoy doing. we seem to ignore these beautiful moments on a daily basis whilst emerging ourselves under all the shit and basically it stinks and we have to stop.. I like inspiring people, i want them to know how important they are thats what makes me click, i dont care about celebrities telling me how great they are whilst the viewer feels inadequate about there own life (which by the way is actually perfectly normal it is the celebs that are messed up crazy fools most of the time.. ).. Now dont get me wrong some people just get famous because of what they do its just the way it works but the people that chase the love, that need the attention make me want to fall asleep.. we should be speaking to the nurses that saved your grandads live, the porters whom work their arses off for all of us but cant afford 3 holdays a year but are worth their weight in gold.. So for me things are changing.. I am changing.. My personal experience and my work with CALM have changed me and my work is heading in a different direction and i am going back to school i think. i am taking my passions and my strengths and i am going to develop them into my media work. Its time for the media to work for me and for us and i am starting to get a clearer picture on how i am meant to do this.. and i must be on the right track as for the first time in weeks "murder she wrote" is not the most exciting thing in my day..... xxxx

Huge Creamfields success for CALM.. woowoo

So its Tuesday and I have only just recovered.. Creamfields was fantastic.. We had such a good time and made such progress for CALM but it was my final escapade before some well earned time off to i was shattered when I got back Sunday night about 1am

Big Thank you to Simon, Ana, Richie and Adam as well as Que Pasa and VMI for helping us with kit. Our Calm tent looked amazing and we set up a little xmas grotto so that we could film superstar DJ's reading xmas jokes off xmas presents. Fat Boy Slim, Judge Jules, Beth Ditto.. The list goes on thank you to everyone, I cant wait for xmas now as the calender is going to be ace..

It may seen odd to many but every year I write a little list of things I want to achieve, people I want to meet etc and I nearly choked when Ian Brown tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I would interview him, not only a musical legend but also on my hit list. Ian your a dude and a big thank you for giving me such a exclusive scoop, and as for what it will mean to the men who use CALM, your wisdom is priceless.. Ian also remembered my name for the whole day which means so much.. You rock , even if you do have the most boring name in music history (check out the interview to see why I can say that, it will be up very soon)

After a long day filming we wasn't looking forward to the journey home and it looked like we was going to be spending the night as our car was blocked in but we was rescued by the Gorillia's.. Not big hairy chimps but the faceless musicians themselves.. Thank you lads... your lovely and such a shame you don't show your faces as your all rather hot.. but your secret is safe with me.. lol

V Festival action............

What a blast we had... this year is by far the best year I had presenting at V in the 3 years i have done it. The sun was shining, the vibe was good and the interviews where a plenty..

Leigh francis and Jade Jones.. I actually think i am in love with you both.. I actually think we could edit our interview into a 6 part series it went on for so long, we rapped, they sung, I danced and it looks like I may be appearing in leighs new show as a one eyed presenter all in the name in pc telly. Boys I salute you and I hope to work with you soon or at least be invited around for dinner Jade!!

Prodigy on saturday night were amazing and the atmosphere of the crowd made the crowd watching Muse look like they where at a funeral. I loved it and even did my best rave dance to the disgust of the bird next to me whos foot i stamped on.. opps. sorry love xxx

Joanna Paige (Stacey from Kevin & Stacey) and I bunked the VIP toliet queue.. Sorry folks we lied... The queue was so long we said that we needed to jump to the front as Joanna needed to go do a interview.. Such fibbers we are but we had such a blast, the interview we did eventually do in between wee's is ace and we even had a cuddle at the end, it was like we was long lost mates.. its amazing how you bond when you need a wee..

kelly Osbourne looked hot and she and her beau are so so so so so in love. Once again she was so on trend with a blue and green tartan jacket and looking more like her mum each time i see her.. Kelly I salute you can i be your new best friend!!

My biggest excitement was seeing Jeremy Gilley, the guy behind Peace One Day. He is a inspiration, a true gent and if you dont know what i am talking about please go to www.peaceoneday.org. You need to see it to believe it this guys has made history and given me back my faith in human nature... Dude if you read this come find me i want to help you as much as i can..

Gutted i didnt get to see Chemical Brothers, V fest why did you put them in the arse end of nowhere in a rubbish tent... These guys are legends and so deserve the main stage.. so many people went to go see them they fenced it off!! aghhhhh dont do it again..

Getting ready for V festival 2008

So the wellies are packed and the dry shampoo is ready to experiment with.. its gonna be fun and me and team virgin are ready to get those interviews and laugh at the z listers parading around like they own the place.. Been shopping this week trying to get that extra special outfit and have found this amazing mc hammer style jeans.. you so know i will be giving it some hammer time in those.. hopefully with Lenny Kravitz.. Hes at V... I adore him, I want his babies, I want his everything... just dont tell my boyfriend :) .. Whilst at school me and my buddies used to go to Camden every saturday, buy velvet jackets, and go home to listen to Lenny K whilst drinking the herbal high tea we bought from some dodgy dude in the market.. those where the days I tell you..

For those of you that have emailed me about the ht yoga its going ok, I didnt get to go last week due to work commitments which was rubbish but I managed to get up at 6am to go this morning, i am so impressed with myself i may explode.. Still not able to give up coffee, the detox so far consists of just sweating it out in yoga but with both Creamfields and V Fest happening over the next 2 weekends it seems crazy to stress out about it until the freeness and beerness is over..

Its been a while but after a few hectic months I am back and promise to keep you more up to date with the Anstey goings on.. So in short I have moved into my lovely new flat, I have decided to walk away from a business project that went hurtfully pete tong and create something new. It felt awful and it all happened whilst i was waiting for my boyfriend to arrive from Nepal. I haven't seen him for 3 months and its killing me. Its been hectic to say the least and as I am working lots of late nights on roulette its felt really quite crap to be honest. Life has its twists and its turns and if we aren't willing to go with the flow things hit us like a ton of bricks.. But how do you move on and get on with stuff.. Its hard, it can be very hard but I for one am trying to get through it.

As a girl the first thing we worry about is how we look and our weight. As someone whom this has always been a big issue for mentally I always find in amazing how its the first thing I let slip and end up sitting for hours thinking how i should be going to the gym rather than actually just getting up and going. But why would i want to go to the gym when "This Morning" is on...

So today I join Bikram Yoga.. I am to go and sweat it all out all the nerves, stress and heartbreak and get all sexy and toned for V Festival and Creamfields as I am presenting for both again this year and if the sun remains hot its going to be just amazing.. I cant wait...

So that me in a nutshell.. Me and my buddy Zain whom writes for Tatler are busy working on our fashion website project and we should be launching in october.. its all so exciting and i hope to eventually design my own range of shoes and handbags for the company.. So its all go and the Anstey is beaten yet.. but wow its been a few tricky months..

It seems to be a really weird time at the moment so many people seem to be feeling down and having some kind of personal break down within their life.

If I am honest I have had so much go on recently and there has been so many changes with all the projects that i am working on it has felt so tough. its hard to stay motivated but I keep trying to remember that we just have to try our best to keep our chin up and get through it.

I know that to make the changes i want in my life i have to work hard for them and focus when the going gets tough but I have also realised that we all need to have fun.. Life is short and we have should enjoy the ride..

I wrote this piece for the underdogs website the other day and thought you may want to read it too as its been helping me when I have started to feel low and lose my way a bit...

Each and every one of us has a perfect reason to be here. We are all important and we all hold within ourselves the ability to make a difference.

Many of us spend our time battling within the various areas of our life. Everyday can become a struggle as we fight to get to our goal. We convince ourselves that once we win we will be happy. How many of us secretly tell ourselves we will be happy when we get thinner, content when we get the promotion and problem free when we get rich. The excuses that we use for our problems do not help us to deal with them. Many of us just wait for our turn, hoping that we are in the right queue for happiness. Why wait? We all deserve to feel good right now. It’s the journey that creates our dreams so lets start to enjoy the ride.

So what happens next? Do you follow the crowd, sleep walk and accept life as you know it or do you wake up and make changes. It’s up to you to create that action and believe that now matter how unobtainable your dreams may seem at this moment anything is possible. There is light at the end of your dark tunnel. To get there you just need to turn on your torch chose your path and start making those small steps.

We become guilty of concentrating all our energy on our negative moans and groans. What we need to do is start listening to the good stuff, get focused on what we like and be fearless in our decision to follow that path. Most of us doubt our ability to earn a living doing something we like, many of us are taught that life has to be painful, that it has to be a struggle and that all the good stuff only happens to other people.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

How do we know? Well, because we tried it. We were normal people living crap lives, fighting to get to the top. Some of us won our fight and then realised things where still shit and the bad feelings were left behind. For the others tragic loses, situations and life experiences made us give up the battle as it had all become pointless in a painful circle of life. This was our cross road and something changed, we decided some action had to happen. Deep inside we knew there had to be another way that we were worth more and our journey began.

Your journey has just begun too and that’s why you’re here. Only you have the answers and some of them lie really deep inside and can feel hard to find, but we can share our tools, show you what worked for us, what worked for other people and shower you in the support and inspiration we all need when the shit hits the fan. It’s all about becoming a warrior that never gives up, you need to trust in you heart, know that you are never alone and believe in yourself as you are more than worthy.
